Ogedei Khan deciding to make a capital city in the middle of the Mongolian steppe might be one of the stupidest descisions made in the Mongolian Empire. I know lots of civilizations have been made in harsh climates (i.e Sumer) but come the fuck on lmfao. Mongolian Khans kind of fell off after Genghis imo.
